Squirrel Goes On Rampage
A squirrel has gone 'nuts' in a German town, attacking three people before being killed by a pensioner's crutch.
The bushy-tailed baddie found its way into the house of a woman in her 70s and started biting her.
She ran into the street in Passau with the rodent still chomping on her hand.
The next victim was a builder who used a pole to fend off the nutter as it clawed his hand and arm.
And the third victim - Guenther Mittelbaum - was mauled on his arm, hand and thigh.
But the 72-year-old fought back and squashed the squirrel with his crutch.
He told The Mirror: "I got in a lucky blow, saw my chance and crushed it to death."
Animal experts suspect the sharp-toothed squirrel may have been trying to protect its young or was ill.
