Sony are set to cut the price of the PS3 by £50 - so those of you thinking of getting one this weekend should hold off a while.

The President of the Japanese electronics’ giant, Ryoji Chubachi, revealed in an interview that Sony are re-examining its pricing of the console in all its markets - meaning a new £400 price tag for the console here in the UK.

More and more retailers are now offering better deals on Sony’s flagship console
