Modified Ferrari 599GTB – a 208mph monster

It’s one of the best grand tourers ever built and now a top modifier has made the Ferrari 599 GTB even better.

German company Novitec has fitted the Italian supercar with a more aggressive bodykit and tuned the engine to give more oomph.

The six-litre V12’s power has been increased from 611bhp to 645bhp.

This means acceleration from 0-62mph in a frighteningly-quick 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 208mph – an increase of 3mph.

Novitec has also fitted an aluminium suspension to improve handling and enormous 405mm Brembo brakes for awesome stopping power.

There is no official price for the 599, but with the car costing £179,000 in standard guise, we’d expect the modded version to exceed £200,000.

The Ferrari 599GTB Fiorano by Novitec will be unveiled at this month’s Frankfurt Motor Show.
